This essay contains the answer to the question about why reason is (in Kant´s theoretical framework) interested in the existence (or reality) of the ideas of God, Freedom and Immortaliy of the soul. Kant really says this is the case (Critique of Judgment Academy Edition 300). Kant does not say that reason is interested in the ideas, he is far more specific, he says: “it also interests reason that the ideas [...] also have objective reality [...]" (CJ AE 300). And for reason the ideas can be regarded as having objective reality if there are symbols that can represent them.
